As some of you may have seen on Facebook, Buck Blanchard and Emily Cherry from the Diocese of Virginia came to visit me for 10 days. Not only are they former co-workers but also friends. So while it was a work trip for them, it felt like a mini vacation for me.

The ten-day trip was a whirlwind tour around the Episcopal Church in the Philippines. We celebrated in their worship services, witnessed amazing social ministry and community development projects, and shared in the joy of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Of course, I'll be sharing more details and photos of the trip this week and next.
